Lady with high testosterone, what can be done?
Question Asked Online
Ten years ago, I had one of my ovaries removed. Ever since then my testosterone and dhea levels have been a little high. I gain muscle mass very easy and have mild weight fluxations. I am very thin so a few extra pounds makes a big difference on the way my clothes fit. As of late, the testosterone side effects are getting worse. I am having increased hair growth and I need it to stop. Can you suggest any natural medicines to help lower the testosterone? Also, any help in the right direction at all with getting my hormone levels even again would be great! Thank you.
Answer
The muscle gain and hair growth is probably the side effect of increased testosterone , due to your removal of your ovarie I suspect that it had direct effects on your endocrine hormone production. I would recommend you encorporating soy product foods into your diet and PLENTY of whole grain foods and Fruits , also do not engage in intense weight lifting types of activity. Get cardio exercise and enough rest. If you continue to have uncomfortable side effects you might want to go to a endocrinologist and consider estrogen therapy.

^LOL , good one.
