Testosterone and Fat Loss
A great diet combined with exercise is the key to fat loss , but there is another key. It’s Testosterone. Testosterone can help you gain and maintain muscle and at the same time burn fat. The more muscle you gain the more fat will burn , if your properly eating the right things. So a few things you should keep in mind is to get plenty of rest along with the exercise.
Without sleep , your cortisol raises significantly. Cortisol is one of the chemicals that deteriorates muscle and stores fat (mainly in unwanted places). Nobody wants that , so get plenty of sleep. Seven to about nine hours of sleep is the basic recommended ammount , this is definitely essential.
One of the ways to burning fat optimally is to do weighted exercises with entensity. This will raise testosterone levels and gain muscle at the same time which is a great combination for fat loss. Keep your cardio as a second priority and make sure your upping the entensity in your weighted exercising sessions.
Deadlifts , pullups , heavy reps are great exercises to burn calories and gain muscle mass at the same time. You don’t want to do too much cardio. The reason for that is because if you do too much cardio you will end up losing the same ammount of fat and muscle so make sure your focusing on weighted exercises as a priority.
