Testosterone Workouts : How it works

Everyone benfits from getting stronger. Even if you have no idea how much you can bench press or if you didn’t even care, you still have to admit you’d rather be able to work with more weight on basic exercises like bicep curls. If you could do sets of 10 curls with 75 pounds instead of 65. Don’t you think your arms would get bigger and you’d get more benefit from the same ammount of time and effort in the gym?

Yet most people go to the gym with the goal to look better , not to get stronger. You see teens heaving around iron like it’s their dad’s charge cards , but you almost never see adults consciously trying to lift heavier weights just for the sake of lifting heavier weights unless they’re into strongman competitions.

If you see an average 30 year old guy in the gym doing bench presses with 135 pounds , chances are you could walk into that same gym 12 months later and see that (now 31 year old) guy doing bench presses with the same 135 pounds. Unfortunately , that 31 year old guy won’t look one bit better than his 30 year old self. He may even look worse since a body that doesn’t get new stimulation will generally lose muscle mass as well as experience a slow down in metabolism taht could lead to more fat storage.

If you want to get bigger , testosterone boosted and better looking especially in a relatively short time period then you need to give your muscles stimulation thats different from anything they’ve experienced. You see , after a while your muscles learn to do the same old exercises more efficiently , thus exercising a smaller ammount of tissue at a less intensity. For these reasons , lifting heavier weights and less reps gives you the advantage of boosting testosterone levels , plus you don’t have to spend alot of time doing it.
